Katahdin Outdoor Heritage Museum

To collect and display the outdoor heritage of our region. Come see our collection of canoes, pack baskets and the like. Make a fishing net or wooden paddle. Take our orienteering course. Learn how to and build your own wooden canoe, visit our Henery David Throreau room and Teddy Roosevelt's Bible point connection. Stop by the cafe for a picnic basket to go and perhaps even a warm pullover for the nights chill. Be part of Katahdin.
